Welcome to mjventertainment.blogspot.com: Celebs Celebrate Veterans Day In Celebrity Gossip, Trending     For one day it was not all about them. Honoring Veterans Day via social media, celebrities paid tribute to servicemen and women who made it possible for their freedom to shine like stars. Instead of focusing on her lips, Kylie Jenner spoke out rather than pouted perfectly as she gave a moment of thanks on Instagram. “Thanking all the amazing men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom,” wrote Jenner underneath a an American flag print that read thanks. “My grandfather is on my mind today who fought in World War II and received  2 Purple Hearts. We miss u.” Country music star Luke Bryan tweeted a pic of him singing and holding an  American flag, captioning the shot, “Thank you and Happy #VeteransDay to all of the Veteran’s who have served our country.” Like Jenner, Melissa Joan Hart wrote a heartfelt thanks to her grandfather and other relatives who risked their lives for our country. “Sending all my gratitude to all the veterans and their families today and ways for protecting our freedoms and my family! Thinking of my grandfather and uncles who fought for our country and defended us in times of war and peace,” wrote the America’s favorite teenage witch Sabrina. Deserving self thanks many celebrities have served both before and after stardom like Elvis Presley. “With the news of Elvis’ forthcoming induction, the Navy and the Air Force offered bids for his services – the Navy offering to create a specially trained ‘Elvis Presley company’ and the Air Force thinking it would be good for him to tour their recruiting centers,” reports the king’s official fan club website Elvis Presley Music. “Elvis turned down their offers, not wanting any special treatment. Elvis was going to serve like a regular G.I,” adds the website. Also chiming in with thanks, singer and actress Janel Parish and New York City talk show host Wendy Williams wished their best. While Parrish wrote a special note to her sibling, “Happy Veterans Day to my brave and beautiful sister. I love you! SEE YOU SOON,” Williams tweeted, “Thank you to the men and women who served & protected our great nation. #VeteransDay.” Of course Justin Timberlake showed his appreciation tweeting, “Today, we honor all of the brave women and men who have served this country. Our freedom exists because of ALL of you.#VeteransDaySalute.” Also showing appreciation Andrew Zimmeran tweeted, “Today, on Veterans Day, remember our service men/women… And let’s thank them all year long by taking better care of them at home,” and Tim McGraw tweeted “#VeteransDay parade #NYC. Thx to all for your service. #AnswerTheCall.” Other celebrities who served are George Carlin, Steve McQueen, Morgan Freeman, Ice-T, Humphrey Bogart, Mr. T, Chuck Norris, Johnny Cash and Clint Eastwood. Now who wanted want that set of soldiers protecting them? That’s what we thought and which is why Entertainment Celeb too thanks all who served, gratefully saying Happy Veterans Day!   RELATED POSTS: VIDEO: Directors: When is it Time to Retire? - IGN Keepin' It Reel Podcast American Sniper Movie Review 'American Sniper': MovieBites Sienna Miller on American Sniper Kylie Jenner Strips Off For Bikini Photo Shoot   Tags: #VeteransDay, Chuck Norris, Clint Eastwood, George Carlin, Humphrey Bogart, Ice-T, Janel Parrish, Johnny Cash, Kylie Jenner, melissa joan hart, Morgan Freeman, Mr. T, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Steve McQueen, Tim Mcgraw, Veterans Day, Wendy Williams
